Dr. Saba Farooq is the principal dentist of Main Street Dental Practice. She is passionate about dentistry and comes from a family of dentists, and medical professionals. The main motivators and inspiration being her dad who is a retired dentist and her elder sister. Saba believes in treating the patient, not the teeth and believes in a holistic approach to treating her patients. She prides herself in being caring and compassionate with her patients while maintaining the highest level of care and professionalism. The first thing her patients notice about her is that she is very patient, a perfectionist, she listens and is very communicative.

Dr. Saba Farooq graduated from de ’Montmorency College of Dentistry in Lahore, Pakistan in 1997.

Saba moved to Australia in 2001. She passed her Australian Dental Council registration exams within 1 year and started working as a dentist in 2003. On completion of her postgraduate diploma in clinical dentistry from Melbourne University in 2004, Saba worked in Melbourne’s southeast until 2008 when she discovered the beautiful town of Bacchus Marsh. When she drove through the avenue of honour for the first time, she fell in love with it instantly. She still says it calms her down when she drives through it.

Saba has practiced here ever since and loves it. Her real passion is in orthodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry and gets very excited when she gets amazing results for her patients.

She is a big advocate for early intervention orthodontics and sleep breathing disorders in both children and adults.

Dr Saba Farooq is a senior master provider of FASTBRACES®.

She has undertaken over 1,000 hours of continuing education courses in every aspect of dentistry, over the last 24 years.

On the weekends if Saba isn’t doing a course to further her skills, she enjoys spending time with her family especially her two children who are her pride and joy.

She enjoys reading, Pilates and gardening.

Dr Bill Crawford is the senior associate dentist here at Main Street Dental Practice Bacchus Marsh.

Bill has an abundance of experience and knowledge, that’s why his patients trust him so much. Along with a great sense of humour he gives confidence to his patient’s.

Dr Bill Crawford’s journey began in 1989. Since then, his interest has been in Orthodontics, Oral surgery, and cosmetic rehab. His real passion is surgery and implants. Dr Crawford has enjoyed being able to service all his patients, previously being the director of Gisborne Dental Group for over 30 years.

Dr Crawford graduated from Melbourne University in 1989 and completed several postgraduate studies in Implants throughout Australia, particularly in Sydney Medical Facility along with Westmeade Hospital. He also completed a postgraduate in Germany with Professor Aidi Palti. Completed an implant and implant crowns course with Assoc Prof. Stephen Chen and Dr Tony Dickinson.

Dr Crawford also performs many surgical extractions, as well as implant surgery, fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and onlays under general anaesthetics in hospital facilities.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children and making memories at their beach house.

Dental Sedation Victoria is the result of the determination and clear focus of Dr Barry Creighton. Dr Creighton holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, which he gained at Sydney University. For some years, Dr Creighton owned a very successful private dental practice in Sydney. He was known among his patients as “the gentle dentist”.

Dr Creighton observed the benefits to both patients and dental practices of being able to offer gentle dental sedation at the practice and with the dental team with which the patient was familiar. In the past, the usual procedure has been that patients who are anxious or experience dental phobia when undergoing procedures they find unpleasant, are referred to a hospital for a general anaesthetic.

So impressed by the benefits was he, that Dr Creighton embarked on the very challenging journey to gain appropriate qualifications and commence his own dental intravenous sedation practice. With that goal in mind, Dr Creighton was one of a select few to gain admission – and succeed in completing – a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation & Pain Control), requiring an additional 2 years of post-graduate studies. He has earned membership of the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology.

Today, Dr Creighton provides mobile services to dentists and their patients as principal of Dental Sedation Victoria. With his commitment to delivering exceptional quality care, he models excellence in dental care that reflects positively on the dental clinics in which he works.

Dr. Deon Zylberman is our most experienced implantologist and Clear Aligner dentist.

He is also one of the few dentists in the world qualified as a robotic engineer and he uses these skills to develop and incorporate all the latest dental technologies.

Dr Deon Zylberman, is a Dentist with extensive training in implants, implant-retained bridges and removable prostheses, orthodontics, and teeth whitening. He has special interests in Root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry, and porcelain veneers. He is good at in-chair pain management and sleep dentistry.

Dr Zylberman is known for being gentle and good with kids.

Your care is Dr. Deon’s prime concern, and he prides himself in providing pain-free treatments.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Sydney in 2014.

Studied robotic engineering and computing at Deakin University.

Master of System Engineering from the University of New South Wales.

He has also worked for the Department of Defence for several years.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, reading books, and enjoying the outdoors.

Meet one of our friendly dentists! Dr Yeseul Baek went to high school in Ballarat and graduated at La Trobe University Bendigo in 2013 and served rural community.

She has worked in both public and private sectors over the past 10 years, with focus on prevention and family dentistry.

Dr Yeseul has a wide variety of experience with children, people with dental anxiety and special needs.

She is also undergoing extra scope training with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars and provides orthodontic treatment for all ages.

Outside her work Dr Yeseul enjoys sketching and hiking.

Previously seeing patients as a Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, I’m happy to be working closer to home at Bacchus Marsh.

My main aim as a practitioner is to give practical and tailored advice to actually help improve your oral health for the better. Prevention over Treatment!

I work together with Dr Saba to see everyone for your everyday checkups, cleans and treatment planning. And for all those under 26 I do restorative work such as fillings for all teeth and even extractions for baby teeth.

In my spare time I enjoy relaxing with my friends and hiking. If I’m not spending time helping out at my family’s farm in Toolern Vale I might pass you at Lerderderg Park.
